The Silver Crane Company has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. They are one of 116 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. Announced today (Tuesday 6th May), The Silver Crane Company has been recognised for its excellence in international trade.
With warehouses situated in both Bournemouth and Poole, the local company boasts over 40 years of experience, earning a number of awards for designing and supplying decorative tin packaging and food gifts. They serve well-known brands and retailers across more than 25 countries, including regions such as North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and China, among others. Silver Crane originated from a market stall in Camden Lock, London, and has since expanded to a team of over 50 members, repositioning themselves as a trusted strategic partner. The company employs an in-house design team of twelve, actively participates in global trade shows and, with a fully equipped warehousing and logistics team, packs and supplies its products directly to customers from its BRC Grade AA+ facilities in Dorset.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, formerly known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to honour His Majesty The King’s commitment to carrying on the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II by recognizing exceptional businesses in the UK. Now in its 59th year, this award program stands as the most prestigious business accolade in the country, allowing successful recipients to display the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the following five years.
